What Can I Do? - Study

The book suggests study as the second strategic action.  They provide practical advice on how to set up a study group in your church or in your home.

Books you could study include...

  • The Bible.   Suggested study exercises are in What Can One Person Do?

  • The Rough Guide to a Better World.  Available free from Post Offices in the UK

  • Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger  by Ronald Sider

  • Going Home: An Invitation to Jubilee  by Frank Griswold

  • Voices of the Poor   Insights from the poor around the world, produced by the World Bank.  It can be downloaded here

Another option is to invite a speaker to come and talk to your church or group on the Millennium Development Goals.  Click here for information on booking members of our team to do this.

Or...you could give such a talk yourself!  Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation have downloadable study booklets, and powerpoint presentations on the Millennium Development Goals.

If your church or group has a website - why not put relevant links on it?  Click here for a range of relevant sites.
