What Can One Person Do?

Many of us want to put our energy into ending global poverty ... but when you're on your own, it's hard to know where to start.

What can one person do?  is a new book for Christians committed to global justice.  Central to it are the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which seek to halve extreme poverty globally by 2015.  This website has information on these goals, and on what you can do to make them happen.  You can also order the book online.

whatcanonepersondo.org is part of an educational programme organized by St Paul's Institute in association with the Department for International Development, the The United Nations Millennium Campaign and the Contextual Theology Centre.

St Paul's Institute was founded in 2002 as a public forum for reflection and debate on the spiritual and ethical challenges of our times. It aims to foster a Christian response to questions facing business, finance and global economics, including environmental, social and political issues and to influence opinion, both in the Christian world and beyond.
