Lobbying your representatives in Parliament and Congress - by letters and by meeting them - is the final strategic action the book recommends.
Good letters matter. When the Save the Children Fund in Britain surveyed MPs to identify what raised MP’s own awareness of campaigns, they found that personal letters were twenty-six times more effective than general media coverage. The book suggests ways you can are some things you can do to increase the chances that your letter or email will be read as well as counted.
